Eryk’s massage style has been described as intuitive, with moderate to deep pressure. They weave modalities as needed for each person; their baseline is Swedish with myofascial and neuromuscular work (trigger point) as needed. They seek to be trauma-informed, with a focus on the nervous system and creating a felt sense of safety and comfort.
Because of their own experiences with trauma and chronic stress, fatigue, and pain, they are passionate about creating a safe space to facilitate self-healing for every body. Their career in bodywork began as a natural development of their own healing journey.
This informs their practice at every level and is evident in their integrative and intuitive massage with an awareness of the individual and systemic challenges clients may face.
Eryk’s background in clinical research contributes to their joy in merging science with intuition, while helping others.
They have trained in myofascial touch, reflexology, aromatherapy, sports massage, neuromuscular massage, Swedish massage, and more. They are attuned and trained in First Degree Reiki (Shoden) and engaged in ongoing bodywork training.
Eryk holds a degree in Comprehensive Massage Therapy from the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy and is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Pennsylvania. Lic. # MSG013332.
